EL HARPER

El started his working career as a graphic designer in a print work studio, whilst he worked on his artwork portfolio, in the hopes of getting a tattoo apprenticeship.

After a couple of false starts and let downs, he finally started an apprenticeship at a well-established shop in Bordon, Hampshire, where he was taught not only how to create amazing tattoos, but also how to run a busy and successful tattoo studio.

El has been based at this studio for 9+ years (under it's previous name: Ministry of Ink, and it's current name: Over the Moon) as the head artist and studio manager (and now owner), and can tattoo both by using a machine and by hand poke.

He loves black work, illustrative and traditional pieces, but is always willing and able to take on other styles and designs.

El will charge each tattoo "by the piece", which means the price will be based upon the design, style, size and placement of the tattoo, but he also provides a "day session" for the rate of £460.
